hello journal, today i went swimming and swam 40 lengths. This makes me feel happy and relaxed:) My current plan is buy a month pass (for £19.50 as opposed to £3.20 every time) and then each morning go swimming. This meaning not only will i feel fitter and endorphin filled, i will also be getting up nice and early and having full days instead of waking up at midday which is what i do now.
The pool is really nice, what i can see of it anyway (i have to swim without my contacts so i can't really see that much), they have this weird system where instead of lockers you put all your stuff in green plastic baskets which you then hand over at a kiosk and they look after them for you. Chester is very foreign to a little Stockport girl like me!
Now my dilemma is, how early do i go in? I could go in for 9, meaning Shaun gets a lift to work, but also meaning i get stuck in morning rush hour, or i could go about 10ish, meaning i don't, but losing an hour extra of my day to laziness and meaning Shaun has to get the bus when I'm going in anyway. I will have to have a think.
Meanwhile I have fish and chips baking in the oven for my dinner (home made slimmer's-world sty-lee chips) and i don't have to feel guilty about eating them because i have been swimming today:) (and i promise i didn't eat a big mac for my breakfast *looks suspicious*)
Note to April, come round to Moorside road soon when I'm there and meet bunny. She ist cute!
